If you produce your own electronic music and feel that
QED could be a good home for your music, send it in.
We all love receiving music.
Music that QED is open to hosting:
Electronic music (house, techno, IDM,
downtempo, funky breaks, industrial, drum and bass,
etc.), dance music, computer music, electroacoustics,
microsound, lowercase sound, radiophonics, sound art.
If you're not sure whether your music
falls into any of these categories, send it in anyway.
What we pick to showcase on QED is music which we enjoy
listening to..
Submission process:
- Mp3s should be encoded at Variable
Bit Rate, 192kbps-quality.
- Place the mp3s in a zip file with your
short artist bio, an artist picture (150 x 150 pixels)
and an album cover (medium to hi-res JPEG).
- Send your tracks to me via
www.yousendit.com and address it to me at qedrecords(at)gmail.com.
- I'll take a look (and listen) to your
tracks and if I like them, they go up.
You retain all your rights as an artist,
meaning you can still make physical CDs if you want,
or send it out to other websites if you want. There
is no money involved, since this is done for the love
of independent electronic music. All I ask is that you
help spread the news on messageboards and forums and
websites that QED RECORDS exists. Link to it, spread
the love.
Disclaimer:
I can't promise to answer every email and submission
that I get. But I DO promise to listen to everything
submitted. If I don't respond right away, it may be
because of tight schedules. My apologies in advance.
